I want to see my video card. Has anyone modded their graphics amplifier casing with a window, yet?
Mine will be here next week. I was thinking of doing the same.
Would be simple to do:
- Acrylic Piece cut-to-size (Lowes)
- Velcro (Lowes)
- LED light strip (AutoZone)
Small Rotary tool to cut the size from the side of the shell, about 1" smaller than the acrylic cut-size dimensions, and file all edges smooth. Mount the acrylic on interior-side with Velcro (or Gorilla Tape).
Then, add a small LED strip light directed downward from the top edge over the card.
A white-trim MSI 1080 GTX Armor card would show well, too. I just ordered one...
got any pics of what you are thinking of?
