Upgrade of GPU for x51 r3

I have had great results with my EVGA GTX970 SC Refrence (04G-P4-1972-KR) and did not have to remove the front fan. It runs at 80C consistently. I would recommend installing Precision X16 if you get an EVGA card. You can do custom fan setups and monitor everything that you need to. Running...

    do i or dont i

Build better for the same price for my honest opinion. If you want to buy prebuilt the x51 isn't too bad especially the R3. My advise would be to buy all the upgrades, except for GPU and upgrade to a 970 or 980 right off the bat

    Anyone running a 1440 144hz monitors with upgraded GPU's?

I am currently running a 60hz 1080p monitor and I am wanting a better picture for Fallout 4. I would like to go to 1440 at 144hz. My only thing is to be able to take advantage of that will my 330 PSU running a GTX970 sc be ok? Are any of you running 144hz monitors with upgraded GPU's?

I did an hour and a half gaming w/ max settings on CSGO and hit 80 degrees C...

Nvida GTX 970 980 are making Alienware X51 the BEST PC IN THE WORLD (LOL)

I just picked up a EVGA GTX 970 SC with the blower style fan. Is there anything I need to be aware of before I install it in my R2? I have the R2 with I7 4790, 16GB of RAM, GTX 960, Windows 10, and 330 Watt power supply. Also any tips on removing the current drivers to install the new 970 drivers?
