3970x on Aurora ALX

Is someone else using an Extreme Edition CPU on Aurora ALX ???

Is your cooler enought for the heat???

I have an Alienware Aurora ALX with 3970x and i cant handle the heat!

my cpu can run at >>> 5 Ghz but the cooler cant handle it over 4.5

They only use a pretty slim single fan radiator so they won't be able to handle a lot of overclocking. I would suggest building your own loop with better parts if you want to get more out of it.

not in my alien!

i have custom build pc too, but i wanna leave my alien as it is, so i ll just run the cpu at stock speed !

the only change i could make is buy a corsair H90i !!!

Yeah that's cool. I made a small custom loop in my old ALX. Came out pretty nice but if you've already got a custom pc I guess there's no need to.
