Best upgrades?

So, I was given an M15X (2011 model I think since bios say 2011) by a coworker and found this site.

I know I will need to upgrade it due to age and It keeps saying my nvidia card is crashing or freezing. Also says my battery is permanently bad.

So give me some good tips please on upgrading it. Also can it run windows 10?
