New project incoming and I'm getting ready to do a build using the Black Aurora Case (left). The case has been in storage and I didn't realize the case fans were designed so differently until I put the machines side by side. What's up with that? This will be a challenge to use the Arctic Cooling Liquid Freezer II -120 CPU cooler that I have and planned to use for the build (left machine).
Anyone know which internal case design is newer? I assume the blue case (right) is a newer model as it has a 120mm rear mount fan.Slide1.JPG

There is an ASUS motherboard in there, currently. Not sure if that is an original MB, but the power supply is an original Alienware 480watter. I have a new MSI Pro Z390 and an I5-9600K 3.7Ghz to go in.

I just found this out myself but the one with the 2 fans slots in the back is older than the one with one fan slot in the back.

The smaller rear 80mm dual fans is the design the Aurora 3500 (2003 year model). I was able to identify the original MB as an ASUS K8V SE Deluxe.

Word. My Aurora (single 120 fan) had an Abit AV-8 3rd eye board. Not exactly 100% on the year mine was released
