Cooling Fans in my Alienware R4 17" - How can I monitor the internal motherboard and/or CPU temperature?

HWInfo64 is a comprehensive program for monitoring temps and adjusting fan profiles. Not sure if it monitors the motherboard temp but I've never really checked.
