Well temps should be better, I've got the exact same upgrades except the ram and I have the 3770k I got from the microcenter for 209$. Can't oc it but it was worth it for my build I'm fixing to do, I just threw it in the x51 for now with some good paste.

The max i've seen my cpu go to was 65 Celsius , As for the GPU - 87 in a long session of gaming trying games and benchmarking them back and forth , From BF3 to Metro 2033 to Crysis 2 , warhead and crysis. Since i live in Canada and the temperature is cold as hell here i can't tell you the temps during summer but i know for sure i'll have to remove the side.

What i love the most about this build is not the GPU , but the way i have split the memory reducing any chances there was to get slowed down . That way i get a 100% performance from my CPU and GPU without getting slowed down at all.

I'll just shoot my fan towards the computer or remove the metal on the plastic side.

EDIT: I've seen posts here and i didn't have to buy a 6 pin adapter . I mean , it was hard to fit but it worked without an adapter. (GTX 670 FTW installation)

, I had the same set up the stock psu isn't powerful enough to run the 670ftw. So it can't run on max. 3dmark11 will prove it. I got 2500 more points just with a new mb.my score is 10976. The ftw out of the box should score 10200-10500 from the factory.the stock 670@915mz scores 9500 right out of the box. My 670 ftw scored 8500. With dell mb and psu 330 watt. The 660ti scores 8800. Alot of other people on threads with the x51 all got low scores with the 670.

I have been thinking about upgrading my RAM, have you noticed any significant difference from the stock 8GB?

I had 4GB and yes there is a major difference in multitasking and also gaming ( not that much on that side). I recommend you to keep on using 8gb if you're gaming.

I Had problems when i had my i5-2320 that uses 95Watts if i am not mistaken. Then i upgraded to the i7 3770 that uses 77W reducing the amount of wattage the comp uses. Since then i had no problems with low 3DMARK 11 scores and random reboots , Even after 12 hours of GPU intensive games.
