Hello there everyone!

I'm new to www.alienowners.com and I love it, I love my X51 and the old stuff from Alienware, especially the desktops it used to be something in the past, now most of their new desktop specs re crap especially for upgrading.. am not talking about the X51 ones, I know its a compact and limited, just talking about Alienware Desktops in General, but I like their new laptops.

** my topic starts here. **

So, I will just get to the point.

I run all my games on 1920 × 1080 Resolution.
I run GTA V on Ultra settings 70 ~ 155 FPS
Tom Clancy's The Division on Ultra settings 67 ~ 143 FPS

and my GPU's temp
on Idle is always 38 ~ 43 °C
in-game is always 50 ~ 65 °C

My Specs:

CPU:
Intel® Core™ i7-4790
PSU: The stock 330 WATT

GPU: ZOTAC GTX 1060 AMP Edition 6GB

RAM: Kingston HyperX FURY 16GB

SSHD: Seagate 2TB FireCuda

All the additional things I ordered from Amazon.
for 455$ US Dollars
" Half the price of my X51 R2 when I bought it "

It runs smoothly with Windows 10 Home 64-bit, boots fast because of the SSHD.
So anyone is having the Alienware X51 R2 and suffering like I did before, should do the same thing I did or better if he can afford for SSD.

I will leave some pictures on how did I maintain the temperatures so I won't get crashes in-games due to the high temperatures, I never got any crash on any game since I put them all together like this.
I will leave some pictures down here to show how.

I used a Cork that closes beer bottles and painted it to light blue to lift the gpu, it's not necessary, but I move my PC a lot everywhere.
I don't like to see the GPU hanging around a lot without supporters.

I attached the SSHD platform in the screw hole with the GPU platform, because before I didn't do that the GPU used to suck the heat that comes from the SSHD to the gpu and it overheated a lot of times, so I did this.

:rolleyes::p

as you can see I did a lot of cutting for the AirFlow and removed all the led lights to save every WATT for everything.

And yeah I removed the entire CD reader since I never used that.

any questions ask me here or add me on steam because I won't log in here often.
