fps on mmos?

hey guys, only one prob ive had with my comp, is even when its on high performance mode. i seem to be getting low FPS or "lag" in my games, and the server is running just fine, and ik my wireless router can handle it. is this just my comp or is there something else i can do other than turning down quality setttings. i beleive mine is the r3. thanks

The M11x r3, like the other M11xs' has a low voltage processor, so you need to turn off or down as much as possible things that require processing power not graphics power. In games that is: Shadows, Reflections, and Antialiasing. But also you should turn off as many background programs as possible.

I don't have alienware but before Im starting to play a game I turn off my antivirus and all of those shit stuff that can slow down your computer.

yea i usually shut down alot of stuff, ill try shadows and what not next time i play it

Playing Eve Online gets me constant 60fps on my M11x R2 with everything turned up to max settings.
