Hi folks,

I love my m17x R3 which I got 2 months back. My question is the possibility of buying an OEM Nvidia GPU to replace the current one in a year's time.

What about other hardware such as Hard disks and RAM?

Hard disks and RAM modules are always possible to replace, as long as you respect your mobo specifications. Not sure about the GPU tho.

You can get some off ebay or maybe someone is selling one on NotebookRewiews. If you have a friend who has that card, just ask him to call dell and ask them to send a new one :) The prices are very high, though!

For an HDD or SSD, it has to be 2.5 max! You cant get a 3.5 or whatever it is into a laptop :) Most SSD's come 2.5 so thats not a problem. RAM is easy to find and cheap.

CPU's and GPU's are the hardest to find.
