I am Jrick of south Carolina. Proud to own an alien-ware 18 since 2009. hoping to find an answer to a bit of software previously used, but now i can not find.
Never been a forum member of any kind. Perhaps i can start something new. Do not know how to find if issues is previously discussed or how to post yet. I will read a while. Nice to find you here.

Hello and welcome. I will definitely help if I can. What exactly do you need?

Also, I'll just need to work out exactly what machine you have. The 18" laptops began in 2011 with the M18x R1 and then the M18x R2 in 2012. The Alienware 18 was released in 2013 and 2014.
If your laptop is from 2009 then it should be either the M15x or M17x.
If your laptop is from before 2009 (Pre-Dell) then software and drivers can be very hard to find
