I've been thinking about how to use the extra GPU heat sink and case space in a non-SLI system and I'm wondering if just slapping some heat pipes or even plain copper across the CPU sink and over to the secondary GPU sink would have a significant effect on cooling.

It has been discussed before in another forum. I think it would definitely help with cooling if someone can fabricate something. Proper heat pipes would be the best way to go. Maybe something that incorporates the CPU and master GPU........
I have a bunch of spare heatsinks so maybe it's something I should try my hand at.
