hi all just ordered a new

256GB mSATA SSD Boot + 1TB 5400RPM SATA 6Gb/s

just one question I want to change the 1TB 5400RPM with a ssd 512 or bigger. should I leave the 256mSATA as the boot drive ? or clone it to the ssd and use it as the boot drive and mSATA as storage

I would leave the mSata as the boot very very fast and you can still put a couple of your best games on it everything else on the SSD. killer little gaming rig you have there. and welcome to the forum!! :cool:

thanks for the reply does anyone have this setup I assume all the drivers will resided on the mstat what comes on the 5400rmp hdd will I need to transfer stuff to the ssd

ok so I got the Samsung 840 Pro 512GB to replace the 1TB 5400RPM and I will use the 1tb for backup.
lol wish this was my rig its for my kids graduation
