Hey as a fellow Alienware 14 owner maybe you can help me out. Are you running the latest A09 BIOS and Windows 7 x64? Do you see any WHEA errors in the event log when you do a restart?

Thanks! As for your question. I haven't run into any issues regarding WHEA on restart so I wouldn't really know where to start with helping you. Sorry :\
