I gave in to my compulsive buying side and bought a Bigfoot Killer Wireless N 1202 2x2 half mini-card With Bluetooth 4.0

Should be shipped to me within the next week or so.

Does anyone here have this card installed in your alienware?
What are your thoughts on it?

Does the Bluetooth work well?

I'm planning on making an install video for M17xR3's so look for that in the coming weeks

What was your old card? What kind of gains would you expect from the new one?

Bluetooth seems to be working, my phone and other mouse connects.
Im going to try to connect to both my bluetooth radios. See how that works out.
Wireless is great (just transfered 500GB without issues), big improvement from the Piece of shit Dell dw1501 card I had in there.

When I collect more info Ill post it.

Im going to run some file transfer tests with the bluetooth 4.0 and see if I get any drops.

I ran some bluetooth tests today.
Took a call using my M17xR3's Bluetooth 4.0 from my Killer 1202 card and my iPhone 5's BT 4.0. I was on the call for 1hr and a bit and it didnt drop once
The Killer driver is pretty stable on Windows 7 x64, overall im happy with it.

Next thing to try is some BT4.0 file transfers

You can get all the 1102,1103 and 1202 Killer drivers here:

How do you know if your card has bluetooth?
My M17xR3 is being pulled apart again today. (i cried a little lastnight)
Anyway, the wireless card will be taken out again, as the mobo needs to be replaced.

Are there any markings on the card that I should look out for to see if bluetooth is included?

You have Bluetooth built in already. It's attached to the mobo under the palmrest.

It's an older version tho, not BT 4.0

What do you use to open that call? Do you need the Killer card for that? I have tried to do it on my M11x which doesn't have Killer but I can't seem to do it.
