If you havent heard about kickstarter.com I recommend you check it out.
Kickstarter is a funding platform for creative projects. Everything from films, games, and music to art, design, and technology. Kickstarter is full of ambitious, innovative, and imaginative projects that are brought to life through the direct support of others.

Since the sites launch on April 28, 2009, over $350 million has been pledged by more than 2.5 million people, funding more than 30,000 creative projects.

GAME STICK KICKSTARTER PROJECT

It looks like a bloated USB thumb drive, and in essence, it’s not too dissimilar. It connects via HDMI rather than USB, though, and the developers behind it have already pinpointed over two hundred games which, they say, already run smoothly on the console.

It will cost the consumer $79, and with the initial pitch requiring $100,000, (they have already reached $197,000 and still have 27 days to go) it looks as though the first batch set to ship April 2013 – will be in high demand.

This project looks very promising and I might get one if the reviews are good after the first wave of production models are released in April 2013. Would look good sticking out of my M17XR3's HDMI IN port

Yes kickstarter is a great site for funding creative projects, one of the most amazing start ups of recent years. I found lot of cool stuff there and this is neat too, though I'm not much of an Android (or iOS as a matter of fact) person
