My thoughts right now are on the Dell Outlet store which has an M17x R4, i7-3740QM, GTX 680M and 3D bundle for $1800!!

I would only buy it as a swap-out for my M17x. I would never keep both. It would be silly not to do it!! I am really holding out for an M18x though so maybe I should wait.

I missed out unfortunately. I was planning on selling this old M17x to a mate for $1600-1700. Then I get a nice updated one with 3D for $100-$200. I need the 3D glasses for my optx monitor anyway so it would have been perfect. Should have pulled the trigger yesterday!

i7-3840QM, 256GB SSD, dual 675Ms, 16Gb RAM, Killer wireless, blueray and I'm pretty sure it was Win 7 Pro. $2200.

Yeah I know, I know! I'm a complete F@#khead! I can't help it. Now I'm busy getting my M17x ready to sell. I went to put one of the old 750GB HDD's back in there to make it back into a 1.5TB RAID 0 but it seems that the drive has bricked itself while its been sitting around. I'll just have to sell it with the SSD-HDD combo or just a 750GB HDD.

If you want to upgrade the OS, you can get Win 8 Pro for $14.99 up until 1/31/13. At least buy it now and get the keycode, you can always put it in later. (Check to make sure it doesn't have to be activated by 1/31 though)
