Found this great video on the tube...
When the display assembly is removed, you will find two screws between the hinges as you are facing the display panel. These attach the plastic cover to the outside of the lid. Remove those two screws. Once the plastic cover is removed from the lid, you will see two more screws that attach the aluminum cover to the LCD housing. Remove them, then slide the aluminum cover up (away from the hinges) and lift the panel off and away from the aluminum LCD housing. The lid (cover) slide-locks onto the aluminum LCD housing. I think you will find it very simple to remove.Its missing the display tear down
