Nice find....hope they have fixed the terrible fan tables amongst other things.

What do you mean with fan tables? Could this cause my fans to (about 50% off the times) go full blast a couple of minutes when I boot?

On my Alienware 18 the cpu fan takes forever to really do anything. At about 90 degrees you finally can hear the cpu fan work but it should be running at a higher rpm well before i hit 90 degrees,this is a result of the fan tables in bios A03 not being correct. From what i have been reading so far bios A04 has not really fixed anything.

i think what scarcy is saying is we all have the same problems. among one of them are the alienware 18 fans dont kick on when they are supposed to. this causes the cpu to constantly throttle down slow. I wish my fans would kick on all the time and really keep down the temps. Ill just throw on my headphones atleast my cpu will be performing the way its supposed to be. Id be happy with normal performance im not even talking about overclocking.

I saw BIOS a11 ...I just flashed my m18x r2 with it .

Why is everyone here talking about a04 bios
