Alienware recently announced they would support VR on majority of their desktops as well as the Dell desktops. I went a head and contacted a sales representative to find out more.

The *new Alienware X51 R3 VR Oculus Ready is officially on their website.

Lets go over some pros and cons with the *new X51
PROS
I'm a little on the fence with this version. While it may come with up to 16GB DDR4 2133MHz RAM, 512GB SSD + 1TB HDD and a GTX 970, I'm not sure it's an entire deal breaker with me because of how they include the i5-6400. I feel that if you are selling a VR ready system you would at least have the highest processor be a i5-6500 or i5-6600.
Enough chit chat about what I think of the system and lets talk about the price for both default versions. (without tweaking the available options)

Well that's it for this article/topic.
