I actually have a TrendNet TPE-S44 8 port switch (4 ports are PoE ports) for sale. I used it for a month. I got the box and manual. It's in mint condition. I think I paid $65 for it. I'll let it go for $45 shipped.

Switches are cheap. Whenever I buy a new PC, I get given switches for free. I am pretty sure that you can get a cheap 100MB switch for less then $30. And they are all generally of good quality these days.

EDIT: Though the good thing about getting something from Tommy, is that you know it is going to work for sure. And Tommy does not buy crappy stuff.

Thanks Yikes. The PoE feature is why the switch I have cost a little more. Its great for powering up IP cameras or anything that is PoE capable. Data and Power over one network cable. Simple!

Ah yes, I forgot about the PoE feature. Very important and yes, this would definetly be worth the extra cost. Cheap for a PoE switch!
