How update my graphic drivers? The one in the DELL is so outmoded(2011/7/9), however, I install the AMD website's driver. It doesnt work, even Blue Screen of Death, when I join charging. Tried to download the driver itself from third-party sources - did not help. Put the new system, check it for viruses. Video card simply will not start. What to do? Please help!!!

Laptop - Alienware M17xR3

I really have no idea how this would affect you; But you can read the posting here and you could see if this works for you it seems to work for some but not others:

a guy by "dargonplay" said:
Try installing the integrated graphics card's drivers with Windows Update, after that just run the Catalyst 13.1 and Custom Install it skipping the HDMI Audio driver, this should work for all the people who have integrated graphics, somehow by installing your integrated graphics driver and the Catalyst 13.1 (Or whichever version is giving you problems) upon it is fixing the BSOD And all error messages you may get. (You can install Net framework 4 after, if you don't already have it.)

Could put in a report here:

I'm still running the old one myself(2011.0609.2331.40394) and i've had no issues whatsoever so nothing has prompted me to try to update.

What bios version are you running?
