Problems Upgrading Graphic Driver

Hey guys, i'm new to alienware and i want to ask about something

I download the graphic driver updater from nvidia, and then when i install it, my laptop is always crash, and then i take out the power and turn it back on, when i do it, the laptop seems too perform slowly and have a dead pixel on it. I've tried to install it for 3 times, and it still remains the same, what should i do then ? Thanks a lot

If the driver is the 301.42, I personally had problems with it, and if you have troubles with it I'd suggest you to roll back to a previous version.
But some system specs would also help.

Hi, sounds like a growing trend with Nvidia. As AeonSoul said, what is the driver version that you installed?
Is it crashing whenever you load one application? Or is it random?
What video card are you running?

Try install 267.64. You also need the 3D Controller as well.
That don't come together.

When you install.
Go custom, UNCHECK Update.

It seems that is the only Driver were make for Alienware.
The rest are for rest of the other's.
