I'm looking to upgrade my Alienware Aurora AlX
Currently its running on:
Stock Alienware Motherboard
Intel i7 @ 2.67 GHz
6 GB RAM
64 Bit OS
2 Radeon 5870 Crossfire
2x 1tb Seagate 7200 Rpm Drives

I'm looking to give this thing a complete revamp and get it running Lightning fast, so any upgrade available, motherboard, usb's cpu etc. Anything and everything to improve this thing

Thanks :)

If you want to upgrade everything there are some good guides on here posted by others that have gone all the way. If your trying to keep cost down and want to up grade first I would install the OS on an SSD and your primary games. Second increase the ram to 8 or 12 gigs six is not enough for modern games. The dual 5870 are getting long in the tooth, if you want one card a 780 or a 290X would work. You can compare to see which you like better. Or if you like dual 760's are a good price now. http://www.game-debate.com/gpu/inde...deon-hd-5870-crossfire-vs-geforce-gtx-760-sli
Out side of replacing the motherboard and cpu which you can read up on in this forum that's pretty much it. Good luck

heres mine http://www.alienowners.com/showthread.php/4236-auroras-r3-and-gtx-titan. to do a full upgrade you mighty as well throw another mobo in the mix that way you can get full upgradability out of your rig. if not your limited to just ram and gpu. you might be able to throw another cpu on the stock mobo but it has to be same chip set. even though my stock mobo was p-67 sandy bridge socket lga-1155 my ivy bridge 3770k socket 1155 wouldnt even post. with after market mobos you can flash the bios to accept same socket cpus rather it be sandy or ivy. i dont know to much about hazwel but maybe would work the same
