I've always been somewhat interested in what members are currently reading, those whom are reading novels others have not read and so forth. Not dissimilar to a review-thread, just... far more succinct.

I just finished Nocturne, the third and final book in the Tomb Of Fire series of Salamander Space Marine novels from the Warhammer 40k universe.

I also just finished Rainbow Six by Tom Clancy (2nd read)

I am currently just starting See No Evil by Robert Baer. It is the memoir of the mans time as a CIA operative and his fight against terrorists.

I recently finished all 14 books of Robert Jordon's Wheel of Time series.

Also re-read a variety of Raymond E Feist's works.

Also mentioned, soon to start Game of Thrones series.

I'm reading the James Patterson's Alex Cross series of thrillers.

"Dr. Alex Cross is a specialist in forensic psychology, originally working for the Washington DC police department and later as an FBI senior agent."

I've only recently started reading James Patterson...since I ran out of Lee Child & Michael Connolly books; Patterson isn't quite in the same league, but his earlier books are good.

I wanted to read those, but some books are not being printed anymore here in Italy, so they're really hard to find. I might have to consider buying them in english D:

Currently, I'm reading World Without End By Ken Follet.

No it's not perfect, and that's the thing holding me back, I don't really feel like reading a book with a dictionary to my side ready to search every word I might not possibly know :p

I see your point... there would be words more difficult to translate; but even I have to use the built-in dictionary in the Kindle, to explain some words, at least thats a fast way. I'm not sure if Ipads have the same resource? or even if u have ipad or kindle... maybe you prefer holding a paper book in your hands. :)

Yikes, I get your point. I'll consider.

I am on the second book in George R.R. Martin's Game of Thrones series, I am reading The Dragonlance Chronicles to my daughter and I am anxiously awaiting Inferno (Dan Brown), I have read all the other books and they are a great way to waste time, so long as you don't buy into all the conspiracy notions they are what they are, an excellent form of escapism. Next to playing games that is!

I finished the first Mistborn book from Brandon Sanderson and I am working on The Way Of Kings from the same author.

Figure I'll have to wait till April till the last WoT book goes to Kindle/iBooks, and at least 3 more years before the next George R. R. Martin book is released. ;)

How's Mistborn? I've been considering if getting the books or not.

I couldn't put it down. I was pleasantly surprised as besides stepping in for Robert Jordan, I had never heard of Sanderson before.
