My stock video card blew so I replaced with EVGA GTX 1060 OC. Nice card, great price, fit fine, but fan ran on high with games so I moved it to a new cube case https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00M2UKGSM/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o06__o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
and now everything is nice and cool and I hooked up the old 330 watt stock PSU. The problem is, I would like to use my nice new 600 watt standard PSU, but the motherboard has a special 6 pin ATX connector. I found some information on them - https://www.lifewire.com/atx-6-pin-12v-power-connector-pinout-2624580, but unsure how to adapt a power supply. Has anyone else done it with this board? I was wondering if this HP adapter would work https://www.ebay.com/itm/ATX-PSU-Po...rkstation-T3S5-/263669491355?oid=142064834609 . I also looked at 24 pin to PCIE adapters, but some say those won't work. Somehow the PSU needs a signal to turn on, but the standard brick seems to be on all the time.

Hi,
Did you manage to connect your 600 Watt PSU to the R3 motherboard? If yes how did you convert the standard 24 pin from PSU to the 6pin ATX connector?
